As you are all aware, we have once again been thrust into restrictions due to COVID-19 being present within the state. Ultimately, it is a timely reminder that the virus is still out there and we need to be ever vigilant and continue to practice good respiratory etiquette as well as staying home if you are unwell.
The current restrictions require all adults to wear a mask and I have been pleased to see that this is being adhered to. With regards to school assemblies, we ask only parents of the hosting classes and award recipients attend assemblies and they adhere to these strict operating guidelines:
- Wear a mask
- Practice 1.5 metres physical distancing
- Follow good hand and respiratory hygiene practices
- Stay home if unwell
We were very fortunate to be able to have our ANZAC service prior to the restrictions. I would like to thank and acknowledge Mrs Elsegood for organising such a wonderful event that is highly respected by our wider community. There were so many positive comments from the RSL, politicians and other guests which makes me very proud.
I would like to thank all of those that attended and paid their respects as well.
A reminder that the parent survey is available until Friday 7 May. The link to the survey is on Connect. We have also included an extra section on activities and events within the school calendar. There has been some discussion regarding the amount of events at particular times of the year and the pressure this puts on families. Please take the time to complete this extra section.
