WELCOME MS ARCHDALL
Hello Parents, Caregivers and Students. My name is Susan Archdall and I am the new Deputy Principal of Gooseberry Hill Primary School. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the school community. For the past five years I have been the Year 7 Coordinator at Kalamunda Senior High School, however I am both primary and secondary trained and have worked as a teacher and leader in a diverse range of Primary, District High and Senior High Schools in the Kimberleys, Wheatbelt, Indian Ocean Territories and Perth Hills. I am incredibly excited to be returning to working in a primary school, where I look forward to working alongside all of you, targeting our school business plan and value adding to our awesome kids.
Any Year 5 students who missed the 2019 Year 4 PEAC Testing due to illness, absence, moving schools etc have an opportunity to sit the test on either Tuesday 11 February at Curtin Primary School, or Wednesday 12 February at Atwell Primary School. The testing will take place from 9.30am to 10.45am. Students must be registered through GHPS. Parents wanting their student to sit the test need to email firstname.lastname@example.org with the student’s name and the reason for not attending last year as well as the date/venue you wish to register for. It is parents’ responsibility to transport students to and from the venue.
