This morning we had the first of two Nativity performances by the Year 1-3 students. The second performance will take place tonight, Wednesday 9 December at 6:00pm in the Keene UCA.
PRE-PRIMARY – YEAR 3 SWIMMING CARNIVAL
This Friday 11 December the PP-Yr3 students will participate in their swimming carnival at Swan Aquatic Centre from 11:30am-2:00pm. Please complete the online student transport form, advising the school if your child will be returning to school on the bus or a parent taking them via private vehicle from Swan Aquatic. A reminder for parents attending that there is a spectator fee.
YEAR 4-YEAR 6 TALENT QUEST : UPDATE
Due to a high number of students entering the Talent Quest we have had to split the performances over two days. Students been told which day they are performing.
- Group 1 will perform on Thursday 10 December at 1:30pm in the Keene UCA, all parents are welcome.
- Group 2 will perform on Thursday 17 December at 9:00am in the Keene UCA, all parents are welcome.
Pixie Post has started, students can write the recipient’s name, year level and room number on front of the envelopes, no candy canes please. The ‘letterboxes’ will be on the benches outside the former admin building.
GHPS FATHERING PROJECT EVENT
Saturday 12 December from 1:00pm-2:00pm, grassed area outside Keene UCA.
“Hello Summer” – Water Balloon Fight
Come join the first event for the GHPS Dad’s Group as we welcome summer with some water balloon action! Water balloons will be provided and kids are welcome to bring their own water pistols for extra firepower! Speaking of firepower, we will be having a special visit from the Kalamunda Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade (as long as they aren’t needed elsewhere!!). Free icy poles and juice boxes provided.

Please return books each week, particularly Yr6 students. A print out of overdue items will be emailed shortly, please contact Mrs Nardone via the library should there be any problems. Any Book Club books need to be returned to the front office.
