We have an Environment Committee at GHPS who will be known as the Green Team. They are keen Year 5 students who want to help all of us learn more about caring for the environment by sorting out the items that we collect at school.

We collect: ring pulls- to make into limbs and wheelchairs; batteries – to have them disposed of safely in order to prevent the acid leaching into our ground water and soil; postage stamps-to raise funds for Rotary; oral and eye care products to keep them out of land fill; clean plastic bottle caps that are sorted.

Remember that we are also a drop of point for Containers for Cash; water bottles, individual juice boxes, stubbies, cans etc.
